On November 9, ex-akim of Atyrau Kairat Urazbayev was detained as part of a criminal case on illegal distribution of land plots. Today it became known that he was sent to jail. The Specialized Investigative Court of Atyrau authorized the detention of Urazbayev for two months. Information about the detention of former akim Kairat Urazbayev appeared earlier as part of a pre-trial investigation into the illegal distribution of land plots by officials of the city akimat.
