The HS8 is equipped with a dynamic head with an improved electromagnetic structure, which is specially designed by Yamaha engineers to greatly improve fidelity, reduce distortion and noise, and deliver clear sound. The developers have analyzed and improved every detail of the speaker system. The Yamaha HS8 monitor contains a phase inverter (bass-reflex) and a separate power amplifier for each frequency band (bi-amp). It also features a 1" dome tweeter with an extended frequency range and a powerful bass driver that has been completely redesigned from the previous series with the latest research and development. The body walls are made of impact-resistant MDF wood composite with high damping characteristics, and a reliable connection of the walls with a profiled groove (three-way connection) significantly reduces unwanted resonances. Thanks to precisely matched amplifiers and crossovers for each driver, the new Yamaha HS8 monitor has an even smoother frequency response and perfect sound.
