Fishing for Tuna

Tuna fishing is a new trend in Vladivostok!
Tuna fishing has become popular among Primorye fishermen. But, as in any other form of fishing, you can never be sure which bait the fish will like at the moment. The influence of many factors - weather conditions, gear, fisherman's technique. So we need to try a lot and collect information.
However, it is already possible to identify the preferred baits.
Rod.
For tuna fishing you need a special casting spinning rod approximately 2.5 meters long. It must provide long and accurate casts so that the bait reaches the schools of tuna. The rod should not be too long, as there is usually little space on the boat. It should also be powerful enough to catch large sea predators, and the spinning rod's structure should create attractive movements when retrieved.
Coil.
It is recommended to choose a powerful marine reel from Japanese manufacturers Shimano (starting from size 6000) or Daiwa (starting from size 5000).
Cord and shock leader.
A suitable cord is a braided line, approximately 3 to 5 according to the Japanese classification. Shock leader made of nylon, with a strength of 60-70 pounds.
