Chain-link metal mesh Description One of the most popular building materials from rolled metal products is a chain-link mesh. It is used for reinforcing slopes and installing fences, in the production of reinforced concrete products, and for strengthening shaft walls. The chain-link mesh is easy to use, strong, durable. Characteristics of a metal mesh-netting To obtain a mesh-netting, a wire with a diameter of up to 0.5 cm from steel with a low carbon content is used. Heat treatment of blanks is allowed. To protect against corrosion and extend the service life, a polymer layer or galvanizing is applied to the chain-link mesh. Mesh production is carried out on machines by entwining wire spirals at an angle of 90 degrees without gaps and creases. The shape and size of the cells: square - the length of the side should not be less than 2 cm, rhombus - the length of the side does not exceed 2 cm (the letter P is used in the product marking). The maximum length of the cell side is 10 cm. Permissible deviation in dimensions from the length of the cell side: accuracy class 1 - up to 6%, accuracy class 2 - up to 10%. Netting is packed in rolls up to 20 m long, up to 2 m wide, up to 60 cm in diameter and weighing 80-250 kg.
