Our new product of 2024 is the most exciting board game of the French aristocrats - Solitaire.
This game is also called "Madagascar checkers" after the French brought it to the island of Madagascar. The first official mention of "solitaire" dates back to the reign of King Louis XIV (the Sun King, 17th century). It is assumed that this game owes its appearance to the forced solitude of noble persons within the walls of the Bastille. So, Solitaire is an intellectual puzzle game for one player.
The rules are very simple:
1. balls are placed on the entire playing board, the central hole remains empty
2. move the amber ball vertically or horizontally to the empty hole, one through the other, removing this one from the board
3. your goal is to leave only one amber ball in the central hole (which is very difficult).
Composition: amber and natural wood (ash), made in two colors: natural wood color plus black balls; wood tinted to look like "cherry" plus cognac-colored balls.
Board diameter is 37 cm, diameter of each ball is 3 cm.
Supplied in a gift box.
