Ribbed slabs are a type of reinforced concrete products, they are the main one in the construction of one-story industrial buildings. Ribbed plates have a U-shaped cross section, transverse ribs are located at 1500 mm intervals, the thickness of the shelf is 30 mm. In ribbed slabs, embedded products are provided for fastening parapets and for fastening slabs to the supporting structures of the coating. The assumed optimal load on the slab should not exceed 300 kg/m².

To pass through the roof of various kinds of pipelines and ventilation shafts, holes are provided in the slabs. Holes (openings) in ribbed slabs are rectangular or round. They are located in the center of the corresponding field of the shelf, while the slab is allowed to have one hole with a diameter of 400 or 700 mm.
