AQUAYER Nutrient Substrate is a soil top dressing for aquarium plants with a supply of all the necessary nutrients for growth. Nutrient substrate helps aquarium plants overcome the stress of planting during the aquarium start-up phase. It gives a strong impetus to the growth of plants, especially bush ones - cryptocorynes, echinodorus and other species that prefer food from the ground. AQUAYER Nutrient Substrate contains reserves of nitrogen, calcium, iron, as well as magnesium, potassium, phosphorus and trace elements. It has a pH of 6.5-6.8, which is favorable for the roots of aquarium plants. AQUAYER Nutrient Pad is a permanent soil top dressing. It has no expiration date. During the first months, the Nutrient Pad actively releases nutrients to the plants in the aquarium. Its porous component then adsorbs excess nutrients from the water, depriving the algae and feeding the aquarium plants through the roots. The light and porous structure of the Nutrient Substrate prevents acidification of the soil and is a good substrate for the aquarium microflora, which improves the biofiltration in the aquarium. The nutrient substrate must be laid on the bottom of the aquarium with a layer of 1-2 cm, in those places where plants will grow. On top of the Nutrient substrate, the main soil is poured - pebbles, basalt chips or coarse sand, with a layer of 2-5 cm. Next, water is carefully poured into the aquarium and plants are planted in the ground. In the first two weeks after starting the aquarium, it is advisable to make two changes per week at 30-50%.
