Especially beautiful are the red carpets formed from this plant in spacious aquariums against the background of the contrasting color of green vegetation. Alternantera mini - a plant with a rounded erect stem of red color and opposite leaves. Neighboring pairs of leaves are oriented perpendicular to each other. The leaves are broadly lanceolate, short-petiolate, with a pointed apex and a wedge-shaped base, red. Contain Alternantera mini at 24-28?C. Preferably water of medium hardness with a pH close to neutral. Every week it is necessary to replace part of the water with fresh water. Alternantera needs very strong lighting.
