The StageBug SB-5 is a compact stereo DI box designed to connect laptops, smartphones, tablets and any other mobile device to professional audio equipment and loudspeakers. The StageBug SB-5 provides an easy to use professional interface for connecting any mobile playback device to a mixer or PA system. The SB-5 features a built-in cable and a 3.5mm stereo jack for direct connection to a laptop, smartphone or tablet. Inside the SB-5 is a pair of custom transformers that isolate signals and also eliminate hum and noise caused by ground loops. The left and right 1/4" TRS outputs are for stereo operation, while the mono XLR output can be used to store channels in a PA system. The SB-5 has Ground lift and Pad switches on board to eliminate noise and prevent any kind of distortion from audio sources Despite its compact size, the SB-5 delivers exceptionally linear frequency response, near-zero phase shift, and less than 0.2% distortion over the entire frequency range, making this DI an excellent choice for audio playback via PA systems, audio visual integration and a portable DJ setup.
