Due to the onset of a period of high fire danger in the Ulytau region, the regional authorities decided to take measures to prevent fires in the forest zone. According to MIA «Kazinform», public administration bodies have published on the portal of Open NPAs a draft resolution banning visits to forests during the period of fire danger.
At the suggestion of the regional authorities, individuals will not be able to visit forests on the territory of Ulytau, as well as enter them by vehicles during a period of high fire danger. The implementation of the stated measures will ensure the safety of the forest fund of the region and minimize the problems associated with the possibility of fires.
Simultaneously with taking measures to prevent fires, the regional Department of Natural Resources and Environmental Management was instructed to promptly inform about the upcoming threat and create security posts to control entry into the territory of the state forest fund.
The draft resolution will be subject to public discussion until July 11 of this year. The regional authorities hope for the full support of the public and the adoption of new measures to protect the forest fund in the summer.
