Microphone Behringer B-2 PRO

The B-2 PRO is a dual diaphragm condenser microphone. Gold plating on the diaphragm prevents wear and deterioration of sound reading due to material corrosion. The diaphragm diameter is one inch, which provides an excellent frequency range - 20-20000 Hz. The mic's pickup pattern can be switched between cardioid, omnidirectional, and bi-directional (figure of eight), so it's easy to record a single vocalist or an entire orchestra with the B-2 PRO. The microphone connects to a mixer or speaker using an XLR plug with corrosion-resistant gold-plated contacts. The FET-style transformerless front end generates little to no low-frequency noise, but should this be a problem, a 6 dB/oct attenuation filter below 150 Hz can be overcome. In addition, there is an attenuator that reduces the level by 10 dB. The B-2 PRO uses the principle of pressure gradient conversion for sound reading. The maximum sound pressure level is 138 dB. The signal-to-noise ratio for different radiation patterns differs slightly, but averages about 77 dB. The nominal impedance of the microphone is less than 100 ohms. The best indicators of the linearity of the amplitude-frequency characteristic are observed in the range of 100-6000 Hz, however, even beyond its limits, the deviation from the straight line does not exceed 8 dB. The microphone requires connection to a 48V phantom power supply. The body of the B-2 PRO is made of nickel-plated brass, which provides excellent protection against mechanical damage and moisture, and to some extent against external electromagnetic fields that can manifest themselves as parasitic noise. The microphone is supplied with an aluminum transport case, a microphone suspension and a wind protection cover. The body length is 20.1 cm, and the weight is 0.55 kg.
