The low noise and vibration levels of the QSC engines are achieved through a well-thought-out design of the cylinder block. The Holset HX40 turbocharger with wastegate improves torque at low frequencies. Injectors in the center of the combustion chamber, mounted vertically, improve mixture formation and fuel combustion. The cylinder head is monolithic, the fuel supply system and the intake manifold are built-in. The fuel filter is equipped with a water separator, a water sensor, a 10 micron filter element and a heater. The filter replacement period is 500 hours.
