Caterwil GTS 4WD is an all-wheel drive version of the Caterwil stair-climbing wheelchair. The wheelchair has 4 driving wheels and a track drive for climbing stairs. All-wheel drive allows you to turn on the spot in a limited space. The wheelchair has extremely high cross-country ability and maneuverability. The advantages of this model also include its compact dimensions. The width of the all-terrain vehicle is 65 cm, and the length is only 92 cm without footrests and 105 cm with footrests. The weight of the all-terrain stair-climbing wheelchair is only 98 kg!
The basic configuration of the GTS 4WD already includes a remote control with an LCD display
The innovative combination of wheel and track drive helps the wheelchair user to be as independent as possible. The wheel mode is used for comfortable movement on roads, and the track drive is necessary for overcoming stairs and curbs. Pneumatic wheels allow the wheelchair to be used on light off-road terrain and to overcome thresholds up to 5 cm.

Comfort

Adjust the height of the headrest, armrests and footrests
Set the required sensitivity of the joystick
Adjust the angle of the seat relative to the horizon by pressing the keys on the control panel
Safety
Built-in gyroscopes automatically keep the user in a horizontal position, independently orienting the chair depending on the angle of the stairs. The unique 4-track design of the GTS 4WD guarantees reliable traction even on rounded and chipped steps and completely eliminates the spontaneous rolling of the stroller when moving up the stairs.
The GTS 4WD model has a software algorithm for stabilizing the stroller on the stairs, in other words, the device automatically aligns itself on the flight of stairs if it tilts to the side and blocks the user's actions if the Caterwil is intentionally or accidentally moved to an unsafe position.
Braking system and power failure
The GTS 4WD is equipped with electromagnetic brakes, which means complete blocking of movement in case of accidental or forced power failure. When the stroller is powered off, it can be switched to manual transport mode; the design provides special transport handles.
Safety belts
As an additional option, the GTS can be equipped with 2- or 4-point safety belts.
Transportation
