Pearl lizard with terrariums

The pearl lizard (Lacerta lepida (Timon lepidus)) is one of the largest and most beautifully colored representatives of the true lizard family. This is the largest of the European lizards - its total length reaches 75 cm or more, and males are noticeably larger than females. Young lizards are olive-brown in color with numerous white and bluish eyes, most of which are surrounded by a black border. However, the main decoration of the animal are large round spots of magnificent blue color located in 2-4 longitudinal rows on the sides of the body, thanks to which this lizard is also called “ocular”.
