This amplifier is the perfect solution for a wide range of applications where several different signals from different sources need to be mixed and distributed to other devices such as power amplifiers. The AUDAC PRE16 was designed as a 6-channel amplifier with two channels equipped with balanced microphone inputs, three-way tone controls, input gain control, phantom power and talk over. When phantom power is turned on, 15V is applied to the corresponding microphone input pin to power the condenser microphone. If voiceover is enabled, other connected music sources will be muted when a microphone input is received. The remaining four input channels are equipped with standard line inputs, one of which is a balanced line input (XLR female) and the other three are unbalanced line inputs on RCA connectors. All connections and settings are made on the rear panel of the AUDAC PRE16. On the front panel there are knobs for adjusting the gain level for each channel, adjusting the overall gain level for all channels and a two-band tone control.
