OSB board is made from long-sized softwood chips by pressing under high pressure and temperature using adhesive resins. OSB board consists of three layers. Each layer has a certain orientation of the chips: the outer layers have a longitudinal orientation, and in the inner layer the chips are perpendicular to the outer layers. Due to this, mechanical strength and flexibility of the material are achieved.
