The main advantage of rubber molds is the high processability of stripping, which does not require steaming of the molds and additional equipment for removing products, which eliminates the percentage of defects. Stripping is carried out 12-15 hours after pouring (with natural drying). Thanks to this, the stock of molds is reduced by 2-3 times compared to plastic ones.
When using rubber molds in tile production, there is no need to lubricate the molds before pouring. Concrete requires approximately 2 times less time to mature in rubber molds. After all, it is possible to remove a casting from soft rubber much earlier than from hard plastic. Moreover, without any heat treatment! This advantage allows you to shorten the production cycle, reduce the number of working molds and eliminate part of the production space.
