The collection consists of 100 crosswords (10 crosswords for each class and 20 additional crosswords of increased difficulty, placed in a separate section). At the end of the collection are the answers to all tasks. Crosswords are compiled on the basis of lexical and grammatical material provided by the program. The nature of determining the meanings of words varies depending on the level of knowledge of students; when compiling crossword puzzles, the didactic principle “from easy to difficult” was observed.

The collection contains an English-Russian dictionary, which includes words that students cannot find in the dictionaries of stable textbooks.

By solving crosswords, students will learn to work with a dictionary, expand and activate their vocabulary, and consolidate their knowledge of grammar.
