Degu, Chilean squirrel

Degu (Chilean squirrel) for sale. Very contact manual kid. Own breeding. Age one month. Has great advantages among rodents! Very social, don't bite, and don't smell. Degus are usually diurnal, with activity peaks in the morning and early evening (in captivity they adapt to the owner's schedule). The animal resembles either a squirrel, or a gerbil, or a chinchilla, or a rat, or a guinea pig, and in some ways it even looks like a lizard. If you look at a degu in the usual rhythm of movement, it is a squirrel (the same agility, the same curved tail framed with a brush, the same curious black squirrel eyes-beads). It is absolutely impossible to grab and hold a degu by the tail. The skin on the tail is thin and has a protective function - if the tail is pinched, the skin will peel off and the degu will run away. However, unlike lizards, the degu's bare tail bleeds and dies.
