Analog mixing console Allen & Heath ZED 428

Allen&Heath ZED-428 is a 28-channel mid-level mixer from a well-known manufacturer of top-class studio equipment, 4 independent busses, 24 XLR mic inputs, these inputs are paralleled with respectively 24 mono TRS line inputs, panning control knobs, 4-band semi-parametric MusiQ EQs with optimized Q-factor and gain controls (up to +63dB on mic channels, up to +26dB on line inputs). Equalizers (two-band) are also present on the stereo inputs, where instead of adjusting the panning and gain, you are prompted to adjust the balance and increase the output level by +10 dB. Each channel has long ALPS 100mm faders for output level control and a PFL headphone send button whose outputs on 1/4" TRS Jack and 1/8" TRS Jack jacks are located in the master section of the mixer. The mixer also has 24 direct outputs for the number of microphone channels.The sound level can be monitored using a two-way 12-segment level meter with clipping.There is phantom power +48 volts for condenser microphones.From the additional features of the Allen & Heath ZED-428, it is worth mentioning the USB audio interface with connection also on the front panel and RCA connectors used for both recording and control monitor outputs, and as two-channel inputs.There is a separate section with an XLR input for talkback microphone and level control On the top of the console you can find 6 aux sends (2 pre-fader, 2 post-fader, 2 selectable) with separate outputs and controls and adjustments on each channel and in the master section. The mixer also has 2 matrix sections. The package comes with a sequencer (DAW) Cakewalk Sonar LE. The Allen & Heath ZED-428 is an excellent mixer for mid to high end studios. It provides a sufficient number of channels, a variety of functionality and high sound quality.
