Microrasbora Galaxy (Danio margaritatus) is a miniature fish, the maximum size of adults does not exceed three centimeters. The distribution area of this species is incredibly narrow, it includes only six small shallow lakes and ponds located at an altitude of about 1000 meters above sea level, 70 kilometers northeast of Inle Lake (northern Burma). These reservoirs and lakes can be called a stretch, they can easily be waded up and down, since the maximum depth of these reservoirs does not exceed one meter. They exist at the expense of mountain springs, replenishing them with cool, mineralized water.
