The book, the first edition of which was published in 1973 by the Lesnaya Promyshlennost publishing house, tells not only about the medicinal properties of trees, shrubs and herbs, but also about the methods, time of collection, processing, storage conditions, as well as recipes for making medicinal and space preparations from them: decoctions, infusions, powders, syrups, extracts, ointments. Methods for using plants to combat household insects and rodents are proposed. The use of individual forest species for other household purposes is described.
