UMF (Russian Federation) is a manufacturer of mounted and specialized wheeled-caterpillar mulchers / brush cutters, rotovators, forest shears, chippers, milling and rotary snowplows (drive: independent / PTO), HCS, rotary tables and hydraulic distribution (required for installation of a mulcher on the chassis, as well as pan-tilt devices on excavators for attaching equipment.Manufactured mulchers correspond to Italian-American counterparts made under the import substitution program (with the exception of drive belts, bearings, cardan shafts and pulleys) and in fact do not differ qualitatively from them, except for the big difference in their final cost!
Mulchers have a mechanical or hydraulic drive, with a movable and fixed tooth for installation on wheeled / caterpillar tractors, excavators (weighing 14 ... 30 tons), front / mini-loaders, skidders with an engine power of 70 ... also the production of specialized wheeled-caterpillar mulchers. The total width of the equipment is 1850...3450 mm, chopping diameter: 100/200/250/300/400 mm, drive: single / double-sided, drive type: mechanical from PTO / hydro. The way of fastening the tooth depending on the nature of the work: fixed / movable, rotor diameter: 505 / 460 mm (fixed teeth), 450 mm (moving tooth), working width 1400 ... 3000 mm and depends on the engine power and the performance of the chassis hydraulic system, penetration into the soil 50 mm. A budget replacement for a more expensive mulcher is a brush cutter. Add. options: HCU / turntable, attachment / equipment / mounting / installation. Tilt-and-swivel device on the excavator (for attaching various types of attachments).
