So hot-rolled steel sheet is often used for the manufacture of shaped steel in the form of a corner, a channel, an I-beam. Hot-rolled metal has a width of 500 mm and is produced in sheets with a thickness of 0.4 to 160 mm and in coils with a thickness of 1.2 to 12 mm. According to the rolling accuracy, a hot-rolled sheet with a thickness of up to 12 mm is divided into products of increased accuracy (A) and normal accuracy (B).
