Installation of pipes must be carried out at an ambient temperature of at least 5 ° C with a tool specially designed for this. Coils of pipes stored or transported at temperatures below 0°C must be kept for 24 hours at a temperature not lower than 10°C before rolling. Pipe laying should be carried out without tensile stresses. The free ends of the pipes must be closed with plugs to prevent dirt and debris from getting inside. Underfloor heating pipes may only be grouted with concrete or covered with a coating after a hydraulic leak test has been carried out. The pressure in the pipe during filling must be at least 0.3 MPa.
