It combines professional quality components; including the DH2T compression driver and 12-inch 400W woofer. The system can be bi-amplified or full-range with an internal passive crossover. Either way, the result is clear, crisp, high-quality sound. The body is made of 12-layer curved plywood with a thickness of ? inches without voids; which is extremely tough. The partition and end parts are made of 13-layer birch plywood. This highly durable case is finished in a durable, textured black finish; giving it a truly professional look. Durable recessed handle; end mounted; makes it easy to transport. The T221M high-frequency section uses an 80° x 55° constant directivity horn; driven by a full-range 2-inch titanium diaphragm speaker. The voice coil is connected to the diaphragm using EV's exclusive Resonant Drive™ technology. This increases and smoothes the high-frequency response and reduces the amount of internal equalization; required for flat frequency response.
